The boots, helmet and pickaxe that got the world’s
greatest living explorer, (Guinness Book of Records) Sir Ranulph Fiennes, to
the summit of Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain!
Sir Ranulph conquered Mount Everest on 21st May, 2009 becoming the first
person in history to have crossed the surface of both the World’s icecaps and
climbed its highest mountain. In doing so, Sir Ranulph has raised almost
£3 million for Marie Curie Cancer Care, we have just £100,000 to go!
The lot also includes a signed hardback copy of Sir Ran’s ‘Mad, Bad &
Dangerous to Know’ autobiography as well as a Marie Curie flag, which was
unfurled on the very top of Mount Everest, signed by Sir Ran and dated 21st
May 09.
